Hello to everyone....I have just joined this group after reading several topics and just would like to share knowledge and passion with all. I love hanging jerky and sausages in my 2 custom made wood smokers I designed personally and I love smoking meats and poultry in my custom made reverse flow smoker as well.

Welcome, from southern Ohio, to the best forum on the internet if you are looking to learn how to BBQ/smoke/brine/cure/inject. Well you get the picture if you can do it to to something you put on a plate to eat then someone here has probably done it. Use the search bar at the top of the page and you will be led to the answer to most every question you can think of. If you don't find the answer there then just post it and someone will chime in with there opinion on the subject. Feel free to share your experiences, and as always we love pictures!

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
Happy smoken.

Welcome to SMF Mr Biggz!  Happy you're here and am looking forward to seeing what you smoke on your personally designed and custom made smokers.  Lots of new smoker folks are always asking for advice and you Sir should be able to give great direction.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane too.  I remember a group called The Confederate Air Force in Harlingen when I was stationed in Kingsville decades ago.  I couldn't find them online this morning and after some searching learned they changed their name in 2002 to the Commemorative Air Force to be more politically correct.  Looks like they moved their headquarters to Midland, TX too.

Have a great day and be sure to share any smoked meat stories.  Ever smoked Javelina?
