  1. Hello to everyone....I have just joined this group after reading several topics and just would like to share knowledge and passion with all. I love hanging jerky and sausages in my 2 custom made wood smokers I designed personally and I love smoking meats and poultry in my custom made reverse flow smoker as well.

Welcome to SMF Mr Biggz!  Happy you're here and am looking forward to seeing what you smoke on your personally designed and custom made smokers.  Lots of new smoker folks are always asking for advice and you Sir should be able to give great direction.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane too.  I remember a group called The Confederate Air Force in Harlingen when I was stationed in Kingsville decades ago.  I couldn't find them online this morning and after some searching learned they changed their name in 2002 to the Commemorative Air Force to be more politically correct.  Looks like they moved their headquarters to Midland, TX too.

Have a great day and be sure to share any smoked meat stories.  Ever smoked Javelina?
