Hi everyone. I am a new member from Canada ... the western province of British Columbia.
I am in a mountainous area and we get some pretty snowy and cold winters here.
I don't stop grilling during the winter season but I sure have to adjust temps and times.
I have been grilling for all my life (65 years old) but I really only learned how to do it properly about 10 years ago.
I am retiring my old Brinkman FSB and I'm learning 'pellet grilling' on my just purchased Pit Boss 700FB. (yup, I'm a budget griller....have to be)
Of course I have a propane grill also for summer burgers, steaks and sausages.
I always appreciate forums where people share their collective knowledge .... that's how my grilling learning took place about a decade ago. And I'm still learning of course.
My next 'learning assignment' is going to be smoking bacon .... side and back (i'm from canada, eh)
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and contributing when I can.
