Just checked my freezer alarms. One not working anymore. Anybody have any recommendations on a quality alarm? The ones I have only lasting about 2 yrs. Taylor brand.

  2. If you have a non-digital freezer controller look at the InkBird ITC-308. Use it to control the refrigerator/freezer to a much better level and also has an alarm.

If you look in the carousel Inkbird has a digital coupon for 20% off.

Decided to get a couple Thermowork RT 801 freezer alarms and try them.

I discovered last night my chest freezer was beginning to thaw.
I think the lid was partially open. Lucky I caught it while there was still ice crystals.
I think Grandma is getting her upright for Christmas. ;)
I have two alarms on order. one for my curing and beer fridge, and one for the chest freezer.

  5. My Keezer (keg freezer) lid is really light (in weight). I've learned to put some reasonably (10#) heavy boxes on the corners.
