I've moved on from the electric reel . To much money for a decent one .
Only reason I finally got the air hose is because it was $119.00 marked down from $200 .
Got it put up today . It's gonna be nice .
Went with a wall mount .

Figured my location , then cut a peice of plywood to size .
Fastened 2X's to accept the bracket , and drilled all the holes on the bench .
Then all I had to do was butt it up to the ceiling and against the door jamb ., and screw it to the wall studs .

Wanted to keep the lower connection , and added a shut off .
I'm gonna like being able to shut that off out there .

Great setup!

Welp, my reel showed up and it looks like it took a hellofa ride off the back of a truck, bent in several places. PITA. I'll start over.

All ready paying for itself . Reaches all the way to the street , both sides of the car .
Before I'd have to hook up the hose , and move cars around .

Had the Big Red 250 3 wheeler. Those things are bullet proof 😀
Don't see them around much anymore. Very handy on the farm with cattle and fixing fence.
My grandfather liked mine so much he bought one also 😊

That sucks . Makes me crazy when that happens .
Same.. you wait and wait only to have to return and start over. Hoping #2 shows up in good shape, otherwise gonna need to see if HD can get one hear undamaged.

Great install @chopsaw
Those are one of the adds you slap your head and reply "Why didn't I do this years ago."

Had a similar experience with HD on a chest freezer. Went to store on Black Friday sale that was supposed to be in stock. They couldn't locate it. It was so busy they weren't interested in my sale and focused on all the bigger appliance sales that day. I went home and ordered on-line and when it finally arrived it to the same store, it looked to be dropped off the truck a few times. I had to take delivery in order to file a claim. Returned to the same store and said I wasn't leaving until they located the in store stock. About an hour later they found the fork lift guy that knew where he had stashed the in store stock but failed to report to inventory control.

I have an older Harbor Freight hose reel that has treated me well for many years.

Don't mind the mess. I am installing solar and AC powered fans in the garage (the orange thing in the background). One in and one out to pump the hot air out of the garage.

This thread did remind me that I have not checked the air pressure on my tires for a while. Just before dark I brought the DeWalt air pump and made all tires including the spare to 32 PSI. The tires ranged from 27.5 to 29.5 and are now all at 32PSI. I previously said it was a snap on but it is an easy screw on hose.

It took between 2 and 4 minutes per tire. So easy to do. It shows current pressure and you set the final pressure. Press play and it runs until done. I have a 5AH battery on it and have not recharged it in a few years.

Had the Big Red 250 3 wheeler.
I had one too . Loved it , but sold it a couple years ago .
They're big for guys running cattle or getting in and out of the woods .
Mine looked like this when I got it .

This one was just as bad . Took it all the way down and cleaned everything .
Replaced some wiring .
1985 250 SX . That thing was a blast .

This is the one I still have .
When I hunted , my tree stand was in the corner of my buddies property . His Uncle owned the 400 acres next to him . I had his permission to shoot over the fence . I took a lot of deer off him , so I used to bring my tools and stop up at his farm and see if I could help him with repairs or what ever .
One day he was under a tractor trying to replace a hydraulic line .
I switched places with him and installed the hose .
Sat there talking for a bit , and saw this sitting in the corner of the barn .
1984 200 ES Big Red . Needed some work , but it's all original .
Seat and plastics . You don't see that very often .

My brother and I got a pair of 110s for Christmas when we were teens. Mom had a 185.

Fun but deadly.
Scary fast . Had buddies that had them . Both the early air cooled and the later water cooled .
One guy had a Kawasaki Tecate 3 with a longer swing arm and mods to the engine .
I wouldn't get on it .
I've owned a bunch of them . 185s I bought new in '82 . Had a 200X , 200s , Had a '86 250 SX . White and blue . Those were good lookin .
Good conversation while we're waiting for Dave's hose reel . Lol .

Second reel showed up bent... I might be over this idea. Doesnt seem like they can get me one without damaging it in shipping. Might just buy a second coil hose and be done.

HD has one in store for $99...might be the way to go?
