First timer

Hi all,
I am 28 years old and live in Bismarck ND. I recently purchased a 40" MES. When your neighbors all have smokers (varying from a green egg to MES) and make amazing food on them it is only fit that I had to purchase a smoker as well to fullfill my tastebuds. Used it the first time last weekend to make some ribs, and I do have to say that for never smoking anything before they turned out pretty good. A lot of that success comes from SMF. This is an awesome place to get tips and see what other people have done. I am tackling a butt as we speak and once again I have learned so much from everyone's posts. I plan on learning more from the people around me and from everyone on here. So hi and thanks! Happy smoking!
