That's cool, mine was 3 on the tree but when my dad bought it to drag race, he put the shifter into the floor, he always said he could shift faster with it on the floor.

I think the gears in mine was 323 if i recall, man would it launch hard off the line in the qtr mile.

Ha mine was a '70 Ford pickup, spray bombed brown, and the exhaust came up between the cab and the box and had exhaust tractor flippers on them (pretty redneck). The linkage for the 3 on the tree broke so brought levers up through the floor and it was alot faster to shift. Kinda of a pile but a whole lots a fun to drive

bought a ford torino, AKA Starsky and hutch mobile!!! four door and could fit at least 10 people in it, engine was so nice i could fix anything, now i dont even know what an engine looks like, cant find a spark plug anymore!!!

I think it was a 92 Chevy Blazer S-10.

Drove it for a few months until I put it on it's lid on a rainy night.

Only half a turn, and there I was hanging upside down by the seatbelt. Crawled out the window, and had a story to tell.

I turned 16 in 1991. First vehicle was a 1973 Ford F100 truck. It was such a beautiful shade of orange. Didn't run when I got it but with the help of a few beers, my friends got it all running for me.

To put it in perspective, the smoker I have on order cost me 7 times the cost of that truck. Actually the WSM I currently have cost more.

1977 plymouth sport fury, that car had class and style when i was in 11th and 12 grade;-)

My first car was a Black 1953 Mercury 4dr with a Flathead V8 (125hp) with Automatic Transmission. That was back in 1964 while I was still in High School.

Looked like this except black.
