My first attempt at PP and have to say I was pretty satisfied with how it turned out!!
Put it in a brine for 12 hours the night before. (May not do this the next time)
Did a pretty basic rub after some yellow mustard. Also injected with Dr. Pepper.
Put in on at 7am yesterday @ 225 with hickory smoke. Once it hit the stall I decided to wrap it being that I was already 7 hrs into smoke. Pulled it at 7pm when it hit 201 degrees.
Let it rest for a half hour. And here is the end results!
Open to constructive criticism lol. I am still in the learning process lol

Thanks for the replies! I will always strive to get better! Had good flavor but would definitely like a better bark which if I didn't wrap I may have been able to accomplish!

Looks mighty fine from here, nice clean bone.

point for sure

The Dr. Pepper injection actually turned out fairly well. Just gave it a little bit of some subtle sweetness. I actually wanted to try Cherry Dr. Pepper but our local store was out of it.

Well done, looks like the 1st was a success. What type of smoker used may determine what you get for bark somewhat also.
Using a MES 30. Will be purchasing an AMNPS very soon, thanks to the many recommendations from users on this forum.
