Filet & Rib Steak !!

[Rafter H BBQ]

Hey all, needed a quick meal Friday night after finishing up hunter safety class with my daughter.... She requested steak, so twist my arm ! :biggrin: The filet was for the kids to share & the rib steak I cut in half to share with the wife. Seasoned theirs with SPOG, I was wanting mine blackened but was out of blackening seasoning so tried mine with a decent coating of Owens Wing Seasoning ! So, here we go....

Rib steak, apparently forgot a shot of the filet to begin with !

Rib steak plated up with the asparagus & bacon mix ! I thought the Owens Wing Seasoning on the steak was tasty !

I gotta say I'm a very proud Dad, my daughter scored a 98% on her hunter safety exam & aced the field exercise ! So, next weekend it's out to the range to do some shootin ! She wants to go shoot her .243 !
