8:25 am; March 20, 2010.

25 mph north winds .

3+ inches of snow and still falling.

Pretty unusual for Oklahoma the day before spring is supposed to arrive.

The fire must not be hot enough.

The snow let up before I found the camera card.
Thermometer says "28"

They're talking about snow here in North Texas tomorrow. All of my poor little plants in the garden are going to die. My wife is going to go bad on me when I put all of the bed sheets out on the ground.

We were a few degrees shy of 70 degrees yesterday here in Chicago. Now there's a blanket of snow on the ground and temps around 30 or so. But that's nothing new here. Like they say , if you don't like the weather just wait 5 minutes!

That sucks! That is how it is usually here this time of the year. Oh who am I kidding there is a storm on its way here as we speak. That will probably be me tomorrow or Monday. I can't wait for summer.

Ugh!
That's horrible to see that crap again this year, luckily by the time your storm gets to Jersey it will be all rain.
Going to go up to 74 degrees today

Wow! now I am going to have to check the weather...I thought it was supposed to be upper 60's/lower 70's, but if they are talking snow in TX, we'll probably not see 70's...

All I can say is:

FLORIDA

The Sun Shine State

We have had beautiful weather all week. I planned to clean the garage, clean the smoker, organize my smoking stuff planned on ribs tomorrow,

Then cold, rain, more cold, then winds and the snow.

I think I can clean the garage next week.

At least I can drink some coffee, read the forum, plan by next build and "look" at the stuff outside.

Spring time in Chicago!

Poor soul. Your pics make me shiver. In Northern VA we got slammed this year with up to 40" inches of snow in two blizzards over the period of 1 week. So with a beautiful day like today, around 70 degrees with sun, we are finally putting that behind us. I feel for ya.

Woke up this morning to a nice (not so nice) blanket of snow. We have never had snow this late in the year. My poor garden is going to suffer. I covered the peppers and tomatoes, but the lettuce and other greens are just too much to cover. Potatoes are troopers and will do just fine. I would send pictures, but I ain't going out there. The coffee and the wife are warm and inside. I might venture out for some logs for the fire later.

I guess its a day to read more of the forum and watch the race, cold, windy, cloudy here today. I guess I got spoiled with a few days of SUN!

Oh well just another day in paradise, only another 15 yrs or so to retire so I can move.
LOL
