Caraway Seed Cheese?

This was something that was common in this area when I was a kid. It was one of my favorites. Caraway seeds in a soft white cheese, either Havarti or something like Monterey Jack. Haven't seen it in many years, and a Google search shows it's still being made by a couple producers, but not available in stores for pick up or delivery anywhere at all near me?
Anyone see it anywhere else?

I do recall this cheese too but haven't had it for years.. a search says it's available at a few stores near me, but unfortunately, I am no where near you! it's possible to order from Amazon though so there's that

I love that cheese, haven't found it around here in many years.
The deli my mom worked for making there salads and fresh pastsa, used to sell it. It was delicious on corned beef sandwichesand Rubin's.

You could try getting a block of appropriate cheese and rubbing it with ground caraway seeds, then cold smoke it.

Cut the cheese block into quarters before rubbing and smoking.

Love the stuff . I buy the Hoffman brand as Swiss and rye . I think it can also say Swiss on rye or Swisson rye . I just always called it Swiss and rye . I get it sliced off a loaf at the meat market around the corner . I actually think it's a blend of Swiss and cheddar with the caraway seeds added .

I've seen it but not in stores. I bet I could easily find some here just need a short drive. We have all sorts of these Amish/Swiss/small cheese shops. They carry mostly cheese but also snack sticks and the like. Found this pretty quick but most of these places do not have product searches on their site. The link seems to be the most popular and can had bought online. If you want to learn you can make processed cheese that is a WAY better than Kraft singles and you could certainly add some caraway to it. You'll need a "chelator" like sodium citrate or phoshate and a mold. American cheese is actually cheddar thinned with milk and water. Hickory Farms smoked cheese is made this way with added liquid smoke.
