Evening fellas, non fellas and those of you who may be feeling a little prideful this month! Things are heating up down south. Hot today but we'll over 100° for the foreseeable future......better than winter!

Decided tonight was burger night. Picked up some ground ribeye and some damn delicious tomatoes

Seasoned up the burgers with Lawry's and cracked peppercorns

And onto the Weber kettle

Couple flips and I put some jalapenos on a couple

Then hit them with a cheesey blanket

All done

Put dill pickles, Cherokee purple maters, Vidalia onion, my homemade bacon and some Tabasco A1 on mine. And some fries

Hit the spot big time..... although I needed an extra Prilosec afterwards

Good Lord, Jake!!! The burgers are fantastic!!! But those heirloom tomatoes are off the charts phenomenal looking. A couple slices of bread, some Duke's, maybe some of your cured bacon...

Thanks Charles. Best tomatoes I've had this year for sure. Probably gonna have BLT for lunch tomorrow

Hell yeah Jake, I’d hit that hard. Hard enough we might fight at the serving line. Well done son. Big like.

Good looking burgers. I'm never seen ground ribeye before.
Thanks bud. The meat came from my local country grocer. Never saw the ground ribeye either until COVID hit. I assume it was a way for them to get rid of the unsold steaks. Since then though it's been a staple they decided to keep. Makes delicious chili and burgers

Unsold steaks what's that...lol Looks great Jake!

I get a custom grind from my butcher, ribeye, brisket and chuck along with their custom smoked bacon in 1/2 lb burgers.

Lol thanks Eric. They were tasty. I'm in the fighting mood but can we wait until the morning after coffee? I'm too full right now lol
Absolutely, I have time for that food for sure. Schooling like a shark.

Awesome meal Jake! Those burgers look phenomenal… them maters are huge! Also, love some jalapeño and cheese on a burger to kick it up a notch! Well done my friend!

Man Jake just awesome!! Sam’s is selling ground rib roast now all pattied up. It’s pretty darn good. That is one beautiful Cherokee purple mater! What’s the yellow one? I didn’t have time to get a garden in, first time in quite a few years. I’m sure gonna miss my crazy tomato varieties.

Lol thanks bud. I live in the country and we have some pretty poor folk around. During COVID steaks just weren't selling. Glad they made the ground ribeye a permanent thing though

I love smash burgers on the Blackstone but hard to beat a charcoal grilled burger

Thanks Justin and yeah they close to softball size lol. I wish I could capture a pic of the lightning bugs tonight. Most I've ever seen. Yard is lit up. Love Tennessee summers!

Now that's a mighty fine looking burger there Jake ! And loaded with Vidalia onion and a sandwich size tomato 🍅? Man that’s perfection!!
