I left Michigan in 1987.... SE Virginia is not supposed to be like this. It was blowing like mad yesterday afternoon and into the night. No snow, but there might as well be. As long as the wind dips a little I'm firing up the kettle and spinner later today.

Still setting at 0 this morning with some snow flurries, deck has a good coating and gusty winds, may drop a little about daybreak, I shut down the heat pump yesterday when the temps dropped below 6 , no need to waste electricity, just turned it over to emergency so no heat problems

Well we pulled through the High winds and rain warning here. ( called for winds of 90/100 km/h and 50mm rain) We did not lose power as of yet, but lots of outages around the different areas.
Last night temp was 11 C (58.8 F ) and now it is 2C ( 35.6F )
As it gets light out now I have to go out and clean up the yard from all the tree branches , make sure the drive way is clear etc.

We got down in the single digits here in North Texas with high winds. I normally spend my afternoons down on the Red River with friends and a fire but no way have a fire with those high winds. It kind of been nice just hanging around the house. I was able to get some work done getting my Home Theater up to speed.

We're at 13℉ this morning with a wind chill of -2℉. "Warm" compared to what a lot of you folks are experiencing this morning, but very cold for us. Wind has calmed down from yesterday, only about 15 mph now. Stay warm, stay safe out there...

16 here this morning I know not very cold for many of you but I'm in FL and sure not use to this kind of cold

-8 here with wind chill of - 29, winds about 15 mph...that's kind of exciting...only half as cold as last couple of days! Sun is just up so should help with roads. Snow plow drivers will be at it hard today...they have pulled them the last couple of days.

Wish you all a Merry Christmas!

I can relate Jerry. Same temp here. Just not what one would expect for Central Texas. At least the wind isn't blowing 45 mph today like it was yesterday...when the temp was about 10. This will be another comfort food day, that's for sure!!

About par for the course here. Our colder temps are coming in the next couple of months, and upcoming week looks a whole lot better then the last couple of days.
