just saw my local kroger here in north texas has briskets on sale for $1.97/lb usda choice untrimmed. gonna stock up my freezer for they year, thought some of you guys might wanna do the same.
They sure as hell never even come close here in RI.somehow they re never that cheap in Colorado.

I tried it...but couldnt figure it out and gave upNot sure if you guys saw that that Kroger coupon location swap thread but I tried it and it really works problem is they don't stock brisket at my location.
I only get them at Costco. got a prime last week for $4.29/lb or something close to that. I live in a small mtn town...the kroger doesnt carry many if any to choose from. so if Im gonna drive to the big city, its Costco.Man, you Texas guys get all the good stuff. Kroger affiliate here still has choice brisket packers for $4.99 lb. I can get prime at Costco for less than that.

About the same here. I've also noticed that some of the butchers are separating the point from the flat, and then splitting the flat down the middle. You can never find just the point, but the half flats are plentiful.$7.99 at the BJ's here and that's generally considered cheap.
