First cook on the new blackstone. Simple weeknight dinner and one I've been wanting to try: smash burgers. Bacon swiss with sauteed mushrooms, added lettuce and raw onion after the picture.

They had a great flavor, but too greasy for my taste. I think I was too worried about food sticking and left too much grease on the flat top after I was done making the bacon.

I have a question.. Do ALL carts there come on ONLY have wheels on one end? Id have it in the garage and roll it just outside the door and would have to pick up the end to move it in and out??

I'm not sure. The model I have (36" Pro Series) has four casters, one on each corner. All four casters rotate and lock.

Yeah I live alone and was thinking the smaller one . found one for 209 then noticed the wheels.

Heck if you're only cooking for yourself have a look at the Adventure Ready line. 17" and 22" griddles. I started with the 17" and it was 'ok' for feeding 3 people, but eventually traded my parents for their 22" model. I've since moved on to a much larger Campchef stove with griddle that I got from the in-laws since I do all the cooking when we go camping.

Of the two, the 22" offers a bit more flexibility in that you can have a hot and warm zone due to the duel burner set-up. You can also get lids for it.

Can you use a regular size tank with that?

You betcha! You need to get an Adapter Hose for it though. We got tired of the 1lb tanks running out so, I picked up the adapter hose and would use one of the standard 10lb tanks off the front of our little camper trailer.

Thanks. That might be a way to go. I saw a cart on Amazon that has a place for a tank even

Note to all that use an adapter hose to the factory regulator.
The regulator can be at ANY angle you need to make the connection. The Black Stone requirement for a 45° angle of the regulator is ONLY for using a 1# disposable. The angle increases the surface area of the liquid to improve vaporization.
