Doing a 8 lb Boston butt for the first time on my UDS. Following Myron Mixon's recipe for injection, rub and glaze. Steady at 250. Plan to foil around 160-170.

Just about done. 9 hrs in and hit 205 at 8.5 hrs. Soaking up the glaze and the fatty and onion rings are coming off.

Meat was great coleslaw was just ok. I followed Myron's recipe on that too. Too mayonnaisey and oniony for me. UDS worked great and this was my first longer cook on it. Hit 205 in 8.5 hrs for a 8 lb butt running at 250 then glazed it for 1 hour
