1/4 cup kosher salt*
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup ancho chili pwdr**
2 Tbsp ground blk pepper
1 Tbsp lemon pepper
1 Tbsp garlic pwdr
1 Tbsp onion pwdr
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper***
1/2 tsp celery salt or seeds
*Go easy on the salt. The recipe calls for 1/4 cup but I tend to eyeball it. It's better to add more as needed rather than overdoing it from the onset.
**I substituted ground pasilla chili pwdr instead of ancho.
***Omitted the cayenne. The rub didn't need it. Just a personal preference.
