BBQ Jam Burgers!

Seasoned some 1/2 pound burgers with SPOG and reverse seared them on the Weber 26.

While they were smoking I made a BBQ jam. I used butter, onions, garlic, black pepper, apple cider vinegar, bbq sauce, corn starch, and tomato paste as the ingredients.

After the burgers were done smoking I seared them real quick and topped

with cheese.

It made a boring burger very interesting and tasty.

BTW bacon would have made the jam over the top but didn’t have any!
 
That Jam looks outrageous! I’ve done these before but created a “well” in the top of the burgers themselves to hold the jam better. It worked out great.

It would’ve been perfect if I had some bacon to put in it. I didn’t even think to do beer can burgers unfortunately. That would’ve stepped it up a knotch too
