Man it's gonna be tough to nail down just three lol. These are my favorites though not the best. I love Stewart so I gotta put his movie in there :<) a true American Hero.

1. To hell and back

2. The longest day

3. Strategic Air Command

Toss up between Apocalypse Now and Platoon.

It's just hard to narrow it down to three.

Wow no way I can pick it, the Green Berets was really good for it's time, the Big Red 1 , have really enjoyed all of the war movies as I have grown up, 61 so 55 years of watching a lot of reruns to start with then the last 45 has had some awesome films imo.
