WOW, I have not posted in a heck of a long time...

I have been out of the scene for a heck of a long time, just got finished making 6 White tail deer in to lots of Sausage and now the smoker is fired up .. Need some info though.....How do you hang the sausages so that they do not touch.. I am using hog and collagen casings..

Take a toothpick and put it between them or at least that's what I do

I use the toothpick method also

Its hard to keep the sausage from touching unless you do a ring sausage style where you wrap them around a dowel. At least that is what I have found.

If I can't hang them where they don't touch I use the toothpick trip myself.
