We get gator down here all the time & Shawn's right it does taste like chicken. The difference is if you don't cook it just right it is very chewy. Either cook it hot & fast or low & slow. If you try anything in between your gonna get tired chewing.

And if you fry it  eat it while it's hot. once it gets cold it gets rubbery.

Crocodile available here ,by product of the skin trade. Popular with tourists visiting our tropical north tried it,not so fussed myself. Looking forward to seeing how you tackle it.
