I have a funny story about that! A friend came over to the left coast for a visit and we went out for dinner. The special was Crab. He told the waiter he wanted a dozen. The waiter recognized his accent, took all the orders at the table and left. Returned from the kitchen with a tub of live crab and asked if he still wanted a dozen. The answer was no!

I've had the pleasure of picking blue crab, tasty, but you need a lot of beer! Kind of like picking crawdads!

Craig nice you use rod and reel to catch them?

Richie
LOL,  We started out on a Sand Dab / Crab combo, but the seas were a little too rough, so we put the rods away and went for the crabs.

Just takes a little practice. You feel all grow'd up when you get to move up to the big table, but to do so, you've got to feed yourself and at least one little kid. You catch on quick cause the kid gets feed first, whats left in between bites you get. But at the big table you do get beer....LOL

Thats cool man. I have had those big crabs before  when out on the left coast. I can't remember if they were any better than blues or even king crabs for that matter. I am usually pretty happy with whatever type crab I can get. It does look like a good time though.
