Ordered the MES 30 digital off Amazon for $169.77 Delivered to Atlanta. Not too shabby.

So feeling good about that I exchanged some email with Todd and ordered the 6 by 8 Amazen and 6 pounds (plus one free for buying the 6 by 8).

So now I will begin the customary annoying questions about stuff I dont know about.

Life is good for a beat up old fart on workmans comp.

Congrats. Whats gonna be your first smoke?

Congrats sounds like a good combo

Did Todd tell you you have to make some Amazen stuff with that little gizmo?

You're really gettin' set up for it!

Good price on the MES 30 too. I paid $179 over a year ago!

Todd has been the best. He said you will be a great source of info too.  I actually grew up with Pops. I have many memories of the store his family owned. I have lots of outdoor cooking experience. 9 years as an assit Scoutmaster. Lots of Dutch oven type cooking. And I love Cajun cooking. I am pretty good with the smoking stuff, what I really want to learn about is making sausage.

First smoke will for sure be a butt.

Congrats on both your new smokers- A few of us have been using the AMS for a while now and really love it

Let us know how we can help
