This is a poll, so select from list above!

I'll be smoking some brisket soon on my pellet smoker (Pit Boss 820D) and wondered what your favorite temperature for smoking brisket might be.

For some reason, the poll closed itself while I was creating, and the 'edit' isn't letting me do anything, nor delete it.

The poll cut me off at 270 as I reached some sort of maximum entries.

What I was wanting to add, is if your preferred temperature is above 270, then post your preferred temperature in comments. If between two temperatures, then select the temperature below and above.

Thanks!

I like 225 on about every thing I smoke, have not tried a hot and fast yet and not sure how much smoke I would get with new pit

Cooking on a Traeger Pro 34 with Smoke Daddy’s PID.

180 to 200. Start at 180 and finish at 200 with the switch more dependent upon the exact time I want to put it to rest. I smoke for 20+ hours.

I smoke at 325 deg. When I had a pellet cooker I’d do two stage cooking of 180 deg for a few hours then finish at 250 deg.

225 low and slow. 10 hours on the brisket, lost track of time and smoked the baby back ribs 5 hours, which for me is a little too long but still good. Used hickory pellets from PitBoss.

250 to 260* is where my WSM like to run.
