In the last few months If I try to drink another 16 oz IPA I will heave. I have moved onto seltzers as well.
Mich ultra seltzer , ranch water and topo chico are the best I’ve found without all that fake sweetness. I’m probably 6 weeks seltzer only and stomach feels a lot better

Uh huh and I'll bring some Goose Island Bourbon County and we can make an evening (probably a short one) of barrel aged beers? That's a tasty looking one.
Funny fact... my brother and I very much enjoy beer. My father hates beer. Always has. Bicardi and Pepsi is his beverage of choice.
TNJAKE TNJAKE no judgement from this guy sir. Gotta do what your body allows. I like how you just own it and go with it.
Got diagnosed with celiac disease. Not gonna lie I didn’t even think that was real and always made fun of the non glutens…….and here I am lol

Totally agree with not thinking it was real. My cousins daughter works in the family company with another one of my cousins (owner) and myself. She explained it to me, so now I make two pork shoulders for every get together. One with all the spice and fun I can come up with. Then one with just simple salt and pepper. The plain one is damn good to.

It's a real thing. I can tolerate small amounts of gluten, but a full gluten diet like most normal folks eat really messes my guts up. Also get that dermatitis herpetiformis rash associated with celiac on my back (it itches so bad that you want to peel your own hide off). The rash is how I figured out I had a gluten issue. It was one of those things that didn't hit me until I was older.

I had the rash come and go on my arms for years and just chalked it up to rheumatoid arthritis lol. Then I got tested and here I am

I mainly had it on my upper back. Got so bad and itchy that I did some research and found out what it was. Started avoiding anything with wheat, rye, and barley and it disappeared.

Sure glad I don't have that... walked out of that store with $ 500 worth of wheat, rye, and barley... the first time. Pic I showed today was the 2nd day.

I have a literal shit ton of various bourbons lol. I can still have tequila and vodka probably other stuff. But my stomach isn’t ready for liquor yet. Probably not ready for seltzer either but I’m a stubborn mf

You can't make this up!!!

On the way to the hospital this morning, I pull up next to a badass resto-mod 1965 Impala SS that was peril white with black rally stripes across the hood and roof. (It was an amazing car.)

I roll down my window next to the guy at a stoplight to hear if the car still had it's 396 C.I. big block or LS motor in it, it had a 396 for sure. But I kid you not, the guy was cranking this song. I almost made a U turn and went home, thinking it was a sign from God.😨😱☝️

Sorry about the thread high jack, this was too funny to not tell the story.
By the way, after the scope the Dr said, in his exact words "I WAS GOOD TO GO" those words were not a good choice at that particular time. Seeing, I was just violated!!!🤣

That one is hard to find in my neck of the woods. Even harder to find is the wheated bourbon. Been wanting to try that one for some time.
The one I actually have is the full proof...

You definitely do not want it. I know I didn't, but it is what it is. I've been GF so long that there isn't much I miss.

Stopped drinking so this is hard to look at lol. But if anyone has NA beers they’d recommend, send the names.
I heard a few people say the NA beer from Athletic Brewing was pretty good. I gave it a try for the hell of it and it was actually decent. Especially compared to others I tried in the past. Kinda pricey though. Go figure. I bought it in a Publix and have seen it in a couple liquor stores.

We used to road trip to Kingston, Canada to pick up the Brodors and Molsen XXX as they where the "high test" of beers back then. Normal beer in College was cheap Old Milwaukee and then Matilda bay wine coolers were the thing...lol

I remember drinking my first Molsen XXX. Well......kinda! LOL. It hit me pretty hard! Now just about every IPA that I drink is 9% or higher lol!
I grew up just north of Detroit and we went to Canada for beer often plus for the dancers. I remember going in those buildings and you ordered the beer out front than it came on a conveyor belt from the back. Use to get Extra Stock, Brador and the regular suspects. Stuff like Molsons was so different from the ones they exported.
