Has anyone ever used rendered brisket fat to season your cooker? I figured I could try it instead of just tossing all of that fat but I’m not sure if it would work.

You could try it, but spraying it down with Pam is a lot easier & gives everything a nice even coat.

Meat oil/grease will spoil a lot sooner than vegetable oil ,I would rather build my base with vegetable oil

I’m with Al. Pam or just use vegetable oil in a spray bottle. B
