Took the plunge today

Bought my first smoker today, went with the @0" smoke vault as a starter.  Got it assembled this evening handmade some smoke to cure the paint.  Tomorrow I will make a run at some chicken breast.

I would doing the needle valve mod right off!   Makes a world of difference in heat control.

Nowthere is alot of really good things to learn from us here like recipes and some really tested methods that we have been using for years. It's free and very informative to new members. It will give you the basics on smoking and food prep. Now the next thing you need to do is go get something to smoke and if you have any questions just post it here or go into Chat and we will be more then willing to help you out. Rumble is my BIL.  I just put the needle valve together for him and he get's it tomorrow.  Oh yeah, he's gonna find out about the slippery slope.
