Temp dropped back to cool normal range for Ohio. I won’t have time to cook a lot this weekend as I’m going to spend time looking at and likely buying a used Lang this weekend. Whipped up some homemade tomato soup and a homemade 90 second keto bread to do grilled cheese with bacon. Soup was just a cook to taste deal. Crushed tomato , chicken broth, butter, heavy cream. Spiced up with oregano, basil, garlic, onion juice concentrate, salt and pepper. Nothing fancy just tasty comfort food.

Looks very comforting. Bev and I were just discussing Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup we ate as kids...JJ

Perhaps I should have. I do have both of those in the frig.
My granny used to made tomato soup and there was always big bundle of parsley swimming in and at least one red onion... Parsley would be taken out of bowl before serving but there was always fight who gets onion... hard to explain taste of soft onion soaked with tomato soup...

Definitely going to try this next time. Thanks for sharing

Wow Jeff...I'm impressed. Not really a big fan of tomato soup but something about that looks really, really good. I'd sure as heck dive into a bowl of it. Tracy loves the stuff so I might do her a favor....
