Tighten your screws and bolts!

Whether you're spinning a rotisserie basket, forks or Octoforks make sure you tighten down those thumb screws!

When the metals heat up and expand the screws can come loose.  I find it best to "Lightly" tighten the bolts onto the spit rod with pliers....sometimes hand tight just doesn't cut it.

So tighten down and have confidence when you open up your lid the food will be spinning not what's bolted on the spit rod!

Yup it's just one of those things and once bitten twice shy.   Keep a simple pair of pliers around and just twist beyond finger tight is all that is needed.

Have a pair in my smoke box! Extremely important when you have an off balanced hunk of meat.
