Congrats to civilsmoker for winning viewers choice with Pheasant 2 ways (bourbon maple glazed smoked & herb butter grill roasted w/ blackberry red wine balsamic reduction) with CI cornbread w/pimento butter; roasted sweet potato w/cinnamon honey butter, carmel drizzle and toasted marshmallows; white wine raw sugar glazed green beans & almonds; and focaccia, sausage, fennel, chestnut dressing.

And Rafter H BBQ for Judges Choice with Meat Church Texas Sugar rub and pecan smoked cream cheese covered and served with a homemade cranberry salsa. Ritz crackers for dipping!

Sorry for the delay in getting this up but we had a tie with the judges choice so I had to get a 4th person to break the tie.

I wanted to say Thank You to SMF, the Sponsors (Thermoworks and Porter Road), Committe, and SMF members! This one was a fun on as sides often don't get the attention that they deserve! This Throwdown caused our family to come up with some new out of the box sides that have/will change our future thanksgivings in a very positive way!

Oh and it seems like us "Eastern Idaho Smokers" must have been "channeling the same wind" Congrats to Rafter H BBQ as well! PS we didn't strategize on when we were out of the boat crawfishing together......at least I won't admit to it......

(I knew entering a side containing Brussels sprouts would be too polarizing. Even I don't like them!)
