My name is Mike and I'm from Dekalb Il. I started smoking about a year ago. I had some cabelas points and decided to use them on a Christmas present for myself! It's nothing as fancy as some of the smokers I have seen on here, just a vertical masterbuilt propane smoker. Anyways, I had no idea what I was doing but I discovered this site in my most desperate hours of need (there were several times actually) and it was thanks to every one here that I was able to slowly figure it out! So tonight I was smoking a brisket for poker night tomorrow and like usual I had to refer to all the wisdom here to help me figure out what was wrong with my regulator (figured it out of course), and I thought I should join and say thank you too every one for all the help and all the help I know I will need in the future.
