Does anybody know if stuffer tubes are universal for all 5lb vertical stuffers? I have northern tool Kitchener and the plastic tubes have cracked. I’d like to replace them with stainless ones. Also, any drawbacks to stainless tubes? Thanks.
I’m hoping someone on here uses a Kitchener with a stainless tube...There’s not a universal tube that I’m aware of, and other than cost I see no drawbacks with Ss
Thanks! The tubes are flared (have a flange) on the upstream end. The nut on stuffer can handle a slight change in the outside diameter of the flared end. Measure your tubes and check that dimension against the after market tubes you are buying.
The first source I checked had these for example, it says "Diameter at connecting point is 1-1/2". I'm sure other stores will show the dimension too.1.5”
Yep. I wenttto sausage maker and they were the same as what I needed. Was hoping to save money on eBay with a 3 pack but I really only do hog casing anyways. Thanks!!The first source I checked had these for example, it says "Diameter at connecting point is 1-1/2". I'm sure other stores will show the dimension too.
