I have a stove top smoker, saw someone use it on the food channel, ive used it twice a small pork loin and on salmon, both turned out delicious, for the salmon i sprinkled the fish seasoning sold at sams and sprayed it with butter, the pork loin was one already seasoned from walmart, very easy, anyone else try one?

I've seen them used on the food channel also. Emeril, was the one I think I saw and I think he used it for a brisket. Don't watch emeril much, my fav is Bobby Flay since he cooks outdoors and uses a grill. I think emeril is all "Bam", and that is about it.

I haven't tried one out myself, or have ever tried anything smoked in one. Did you have a nice smoke ring? Did it have a smokey taste? If it was good then keep using it. Was it better than on a "regular" smoker (what ever regular may mean. charcoal, pellet, LP, elec)

I like cook'n outside, so I'm not big on anything cooked inside.

That time of year for etouffee, and I wanna do it on the smoker.

Way off subject. Good to hear it worked for ya Stiffy, got any pics?

Haven't tried them but I'm interested in knowing how they do. I also saw smoker bags at the food show, they smelled like good smoke, they were only like 3 or 4 dollars.
