I'm jealous. I went in 2022 and only caught Pink Salmon. Good not great. Still a great trip and as others have mentioned I highly recommend going if you have the opportunity. We took a cruise but if i go again, I'll fly in and travel the state on our own.
 
It all came down to luck
Unless you stay all three weeks (main run) you could hit run good but not unreal
Like anything
But soo many sockeye anyway, so if you pay attention and ask questions it really pays off while on the water
I would say we could have went anytime during the 3 week(main) run and came home with that number of fish or more
They migrate so you have to do the math here now, later theyll be here if smaller numbers is all
And a luck of course

The tides are so crazy
No docks
They can only launch you in the boat.
They have it down to a science though
Its slick. Ill try to attach the video from in boat.
Its a crazy experience
The halibut fishing we did for one day was cool. But im more of a hands-on guy in the stream but im glad we did it. The view is incredible
