Howdy from South Florida!

Just wanted to introduce myself, my wife and I live in Palm Beach County, Florida, with our four furry children, and recently got a Master Forge electric smoker from my folks. She's from central Texas and I'm from South Carolina (but also lived in Texas) so we both love grilled and smoked meat.

I've been reading some of the posts and recommendations on this forum and found some fantastic guidance! Looking forward to smoking baby back ribs this afternoon, based on the 2-2-1 method. Will let everyone know how it goes.

Good morning and welcome to the forum from another hot and humid day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.

66moparcharger, welcome to SMF! Glad you're here and enjoying the forum. I picked up an Aggie myself when stationed in Texas decades ago. She's still keeping me company.

Have fun!

Thanks! She's class of 2012 and 2014 (undergrad and grad) and I'm 2014 (grad). We met in class and moved to Florida after graduation.

Gig 'em!

Thought I'd share some pics from today's endeavor. This was my first time using a smoker and it went very successfully
