OK... Doesn't seem like Highlands Hammock is gonna be ready to go so...

I think it's time to go ahead and make reservations at Hardee Lakes... Same sites as last year...
Looking at the map... Sites 10 and up... Sites 30 and down ... And we will put the gathering tents in the middle again...

Are y'all ready ???
@dougmays
@Discus39
@orlandosmoking
@Fueling Around

Any others that I missed
Also any newcomers are more than welcomed to come join us...

Damn, I wish we weren't almost as far away in the US as can be, it sounds like a great time. I need to organize the West Coast version of your get-together for next yr. I'm not opposed to flying across the Country to meet new friends, it's just the thought of not having our 5th wheel, and I sure as heck can't make that drive any longer.
Likewise, I'll be watching this thread closely for ideas on how to put a West Coast event, together, as it sounds like a blast.
Wish Carol and I could make the trip.

Have a blast.
Dan.

Diane really liked Hardee Lakes. Not better than Highland Hammock, but something different.
Jeff and Rene @j-regn joined us last year. Hope to see them again.
Keith you have your normal posse that arrives and fills the campsites.
There was the camper next to Steve and Carla @orlandosmoking that I cannot remember names
Diane and I will stay on the east end again. I will make a reservation tomorrow

The one I got was a series of 3 banners or boxes , claiming to be SMF " Forum options " like smokers or
grilling , but underneath the options was a redirect to amazon .
My first thought was it was hacked .

There was the camper next to Steve (Don) and Carla orlandosmoking that I cannot remember names

Yes... Skip and his wife Joyce ...

Keith you have your normal posse that arrives and fills the campsites.

Yes.. They are all coming plus more ...

Let's do this! Darcy and Bill have reserved #30, same as last year. Miranda and I will set up tent there. Staying strong with the tent-game :)

Hopefully we can do Highland Hammock next year but Hardee is a good 2nd option.

I reserved #12 for Wednesday to Monday. I was planning for less fight at the dump station on Monday.
Sorry John & Linda @fxsales1959, Diane wanted to be closer to Darcy & Bill. #11 where we stayed last year is a long drive thru site so maybe for better you?

Thanks Keith. I don't know why my fingers change names.
Don @orlandosmoking doesn't log on much. Do you have a number to call him?

Site #10 is not a great choice. All the other sites seemed pretty good.

I just updated Post #1 with people's sites!

Yearly Competition - We've tossed around the idea of something to replace the Rib Comp., any thoughts on changing to a "type of meat" competition (like anything Beef, Chicken or pork) or stick with our usual pork rib competition?

The rib comp is fine with me even though I haven't competed. Thinking to give it a whirl this year if Keith offers space on his tractor.
I'm beefed out after my last year's tri-tip 3 ways.
Thinking cured chicken legs this year, but no need to make it a competition . I just enjoy bringing something different to the table.
