Had a couple really good weather days so knocked out a bunch of work…..

Ran all the electrical, did the build up on the columns and the today was able to get all the soffit up….Mrs Civil was a huge help holding each panel in place as it set the screws….i call today a leg day….i can’t even count the amount of up and down the ladder….the facial and drip edge on the sides is all that’s left on the roof work.

Just love the clean sleek look!!

Very pleased and you can see I’m ready for the panel and trim work on the posts!

So panel trim work then facing up the trusses!!!

The weather has been off and on so whenever the sun was shining I’ve been running outside to work……

Before Christmas was able to get all the facia and drip edge done…. Love the clean slick lines…..

After Christmas I was able to get the posts wrapped with siding and started fabricating the trusses….. doing a test fit tonight…still need to fab up the diagonal struts but I’m happy it fits!

Now that I have one fit the others will go much faster…. Fingers crossed tomorrow is a day of chopping and welding…….

Well it’s been a while since I have done and update…..work got crazy busy so things got stalled but have been working on the trusses for a few months and was able to finish them off and painted…..tonight was installation night (as the sun went down and the temp went down as well)

The diagonals are lagged onto the roof beams in addition to the posts…..they really locked it up!

Was a beautiful night……shot from the garden boxes…..soon all the cookers will be moving in…..

Oh I will be eating this baby tomorrow!!!

Awesome setup , and nice attention to detail .
I see the mention of slat wall . I put roll up shades on 3 sides of my Gazebo . Works pretty good .

Let's hear it for X Fire and The Copper Pot! Both awesome pieces of equipment and great for fire pics! :emoji_blush:

Lookin' very good Cortney. I'm still in for the final reveal!

Thanks chop! I thought about roll up sides but with the wind we get thought something a little more robust….3/4” x 5.5” planks!

Thanks schlotz! This thing had taken way too long but that’s life some times! It’s getting close now!

What's the span rated at for the standing seam ?
Or is that ceiling material hiding framing .

Nevermind . I just went back and reveiwed . Should have done that first .
I figured as much , just a knee jerk reaction on my part .

I get some pretty stiff winds too . The shades are on shock absorbing connectors . If it's supposed to get to bad . I roll them up .
