So as part of the smokehouse way build a downsized pellet was in the plan…..so went to Ace take a gander and while I was on the fence the 1600 went on sale….and as I mentioned on another post you can get recteq through amazon so you can get rewards back!!! Ordered and it was scheduled to be delivered this coming Thursday but happed to look out the door this was sitting in the driveway…..

Was delivered in 4 DAYS!!! I mean I’m still waiting for some small parts i ordered as the same time…..

Since it came way sooner than expected it took a few days to put it together and rolled into Smokehouse Way….

HOLY PELLET SMOKER!!!!! Finally a pellet smoker that can have a turkey or full prime rib roast on a rack and have a drip pan under with enough space that there isn’t evaporative cooling from the pan….

recteq well done!!!! WELL DONE!!!

I’m SO glad glad I didn’t down size ie loose function over the RT 1250. I will take some pics of the inside when I do the burnin this week end. There are some really nice added features! @sandyut I will take pics of how they did the double grease pots for Ya!

As any FYI, this is a 1250 that has been vertically stretched 5-6 inches higher! The drip pan is way improved as is the auger design. This is a cooker!!! Which is saying something cause the 1250 is/was a cooking machine!

Did a little shuffling around in Smokehouse Way for both form and function and I’m likening the new layout!

By the way Smokehouse Way was the vehicle to make this happen…..Ie the “old” cooking covered patio has a new fire in it with a view!!!

More pics of the FS1600 and first use impressions to come…..

Wow! Nice! Happy for you!
Much appreciated yankee! Been saving and working for a while to make this happen!
That’s a very nice cooker you got there!
Thanks CS!
That's awesome... BUT ...

I think SmokeHouse Way is in need of an expansion already... With those 3 cookers it's starting to look a little crowded already... just saying...
Thanks and it’s just right a Goldie locks stated….. It forces me to be tapped out! Hence the Copper Pot finding a new caretaker! Oh and I thought about making to bigger but having to add center posts brought me back to reason so this is all she wrote…lol.

Oh PS, Mrs C asked me as we were moving things in….. “are you sure it’s big enough”……. :emoji_wink:
