Smoked Pot Roast

We have some friends and family coming over tonight for the Broncos vs Patriots game (Go Broncos!). 

I pulled a pot roast out of the freezer this morning, and I about to get it ready for a smoke. It will be the first time I use my new AMNPS. I am excited. 

I will post the Qview.

A good Smoked Roast is very good. Watch the temp and keep the cooking temp at 225*f till done.

Here is the qview of the prep work. 

First the roast. 

I smothered it in BBQ sauce, and then added the following seasonings. 

Here is the roast ready for the smoker. 

I'm also doing some smoked potato chips.

Now everything looks good so far. Now I hope that your smoker is gonna be hot enough along with the amns. Now the Bronco's aren't doing very well at this time.

No the broncos do not look good this week. Even though i wanted them to win, I did not expect them too. Tebow just does not have the expirence to go against brady. Even though they won last week, they let a beat up stealers team catch up and almost pull out the win. I knew it would not be good against a full strength patriot team.

I think tebow will look a lot better next year. The broncos will work him hard in the off season, and he will be a better stronger QB.

It turned out great. 

However, I failed with the qview. I had 10 people all like hungry vultures, and they roast was gone before i even had a chance to take a picture. 

I will post pics next time.

I know, epic fail!

But yes the meal was excellent! We cut up the roast and made great french dip sandwiched with it. Very yummy!!!
