Smoked Meatloaf w/ Q-View

  1. Was going to make a meatloaf Friday but things came up and I couldn't do it. So since I was smoking on Sunday I figured I may as well smoke the loaf. Buckle up. Here we go.

    First we get a nice Vidalia onion.

    Then some meat and seasonings. 1 1/2 pounds Ground Beef and 1/2 pound ground pork. I froze the other half of the pork for meatballs at a later date.

    Finely chop the onion.

    Fry them until soft in some EVOO and butter.

    The seasonings.

    I know it's redundant but this pic came out really good. I love all the colors.

    Mix it all together and form the loaf.

    Wrap it and put her to bed for the night.

    Nice pics, especially of the Cavender's...use it ALL the time. Good luck with the meatloaf, I know it will be good.

  10. Here's the meatloaf after 3 hours, the chicken after 2 hours. Threw on some p-nuts and ABTs. The chicken is in another thread.

  16. Pulled the meatloaf off at 165. The chicken was at 170 - 180. Foiled and toweled the meat til dinner time. The turds were perfect. There will be a turd post later.

    The food looks terrific but I gotta say I Really like the knife in the first picture...
