Sausage Maker 15 lb stuffer #18-1012 info sought

Has anyone got experience with this stuffer?  It's the heavier duty of their 15 lb stuffers with the gear box but the "Especially hardened resin gears" cause me a bit of concern.

EDIT: I should have added that I won't be using it for small stuff like snack sticks.  I've got a 5 lb LEM for that.
