That Grub Rub always makes a good Ribeye. Heavy season and vacuum in the morning.

I seen these potatoes from Chef John Foodwishes and though would give them a go. He has never let me down in the past. Came out a bit to salty for me but good. He insisted they need a teaspoon salt per potato but I think his were bigger than mine. Should of listened to that voice in my head!

The cook on that beef looks great.

Are the potatoes this recipe? He DOES say "very large" potatoes. 3 tsps is a full tablespoon of salt. That's a lot of salt for one casserole in my opinion and I'm not shy on salt. Did you use the kosher salt? He does show a lesser amount for finer salt.

I like to substitute granulated bouillon for salt in recipes where I can. That potato recipe is a candidate for chicken bouillon granules!

Wow, that's killer. That steak looks beyond delicious! Not sure what romanoff taters are, but they look tasty. And who doesn't like corn and taters with a steak?

Yes I used kosher. I did not use really big potatoes though I think it would of still been salty. I knew better.

Not sure how this made the carousel but I will take it.

So you knocked that out of the park! Very nice BT!
Thanks Randy.
BGSDT, Nice plate of scrumptiousness ! The steak is done just right.
Thanks Dave

Thanks. That Grub Rub really makes a great Ribeye. I never heard of them either until I watched his video.
