This is one of my FAVORITE things in the whole world...Mushroom and Swiss burgers.  These are reverse seared and the mushroom sauce has been cooking in the black cast iron pan the whole time. I moved a couple over at a time for the beautiful flame kissed sear!

I topped with some onions i cold smoked earlier...will post that later.

....and on w/ the Swiss!

Sorry the cook always eats first!

Those burgers look awesome, is there anything in with the mushrooms or just by themselves cooking i love mushroom and swiss burgers and would love to give this a try

Yes, i add beef broth, butter, salt and pepper and let it simmer for a while....then i add a little flour and some corn starch to thicken it up a little bit more.

it time for fresh morel mushrooms here, got the first batch this weekend may have to do them with some steaks after looking at those tastey burgers.

Awesome........ I love mushrooms. They are not popular in my house so i dont see them unless I go buy them......
