2nd time doing steaks reverse sear the 1st time was fantastic I used hickory and pecan smoke. Was thinking of trying cherry and hickory this time was wondering if cherry goes well with beef? I have love cherry on everything else I've smoked it on just don't want to mess up 40$ worth of steaks.

You won't mess them up. Cherry is fine..I prefer oak myself, but it's a preference thing
Thanks I'm using royal oak lump charcoal so it should have some oak smoke in there too. I'll post pics after they are done.
