That steak looks wonderful. I feel for you and the cold weather cooking and congratulations on the upcoming wedding. Hubby and I have been married almost 38 years now...I do all the cooking/grilling/smoking etc. You just can't say NO! when they look at you and present you with a tri tip roast and casually mention "this should would be good on the charcoal" Now, I used to cook in all kinds of weather....but I put my foot down at this -30 deg C stuff. Last week we did the reverse sear on the tri tip... thankfully we were experiencing tropical weather conditions here of +16 deg C or 61 deg F As for the flight risk...I think I am safe at this point. If you keep cooking like this, your gal is never going to leave you!
Sh. I have been telling all my American friends that - 30 is just a normal smoking day here.

The tri tip sounds wonderful. It appears your hubby is lucky and knows it!

A nice medium steak. And a real heat wave up there, eh?

I got my wife to marry me on Valentines day too. Score! Pure genius to get her to combine both events on the same day if I do say do myself:emoji_laughing:

"It will be so nice when we're finally married and I don't have to do as I'm told."

Now THAT...is funny...
It is a good day to get married for sure. I was married for 47 years and did what I was told. I intend to do better this time.
