A chest freezer is a great place to "lose" stuff. While organizing mine to make room for fresh corn, I found a tri-tip that was "lost" in the bottom and said to myself that thing is going to get some smoke and a reverse sear.

So thawed it out and trimmed it up some...

A great member on here had sent me a Kinder's gift box. In it was a Smoked Onion rub which has quickly become a favorite around here. So seasoned up the tri-tip...

On a Weber to smoke. At about 120℉, moved it over the fire to sear then pulled to rest...

Fresh peaches are everywhere and we love them grilled. Rubbed with a little EVOO and on they went to get some char...

Another side was roasted asparagus with parmesan cheese...

I need to dig around in the freezer some more and see what else is "lost" in there...😉

Great looking meal! Our sweet corn just tasseled so not quite ready to eat lol!

I hear you. We finally started keeping an inventory sheet taped to the lid. Nothing goes in or out without updating that sheet.

That meal looks amazing!!

Wow that all looks amazing! Epically the asparagus.
But I gotta ask about the peaches. Do you just sear? How's the texture? Peaches are my favorite fruit!

I rub them with a little EVOO and then sear both sides until I get the grill marks. Sprinkle with a little salt, not much. These peaches were really ripe and soft already. Searing will make them a little bit softer...

Great looking plate !!!
Thanks Mike!
Good Lord My Friend… talk about a Grand Slam!!!
