Humana Medicare Advantage

Don't know yet , but I'm getting ready to find out . I have my Advantage plan with the Carpenters . I got a letter last week that they were changing to Humana from United health care .
$350 a month . Been paying on it since 2018 , and have never used any of it .

SAME HERE, JUST FOUND OUT A COUPLE DAYS AGO THAT BLUE CROSS IS DROPPING COVERAGE FOR FOLKS ON THE INDIVIDUAL PLANS THROUGHT TEXAS. ALPINE HAS THE ONLY HEALTH SERVICES AROUND THESE PARTS FOR OVER A HUNDRED MILES. EVERYONE IS SCRAMBLING TO SWITCH OVER TO HUMANA AND ALL THE DOCS ARE MAKING CHANGES TO ACCEPT AND COVER THEM. WIFE TELLS ME HUMANA LOOKS PRETTY GOOD FOR COVERAGE, WE'LL SEE. I TRY NOT TO GO TO SEE A DOC MUCH, SEEMS THEY ALWAYS FIND SOMETHING WRONG.

Right . I've always played my cards the way they were dealt . If something gets bad enough that I need a Dr. , I'll know .

I just found this website today... It's seems to be pretty good for newbies that don't have a clue (raising my hand)... You put in all your info (Dr's, hospitals, drugs and such) and it searches for the best plans... Then you can compare the different plans to see which one suits you better... I'm going to play with it and see what comes up...

The ACA site does that as well. its not 100% accurate, but close. It doesnt tell you who has more providers and such. Some plans offered here are pretty limited and some not.

They nearly left Colorado last year, not they are switching entire hospital systems. I thought they were ok for the last 3 years, but now I want out as they are getting shifty and I feel like they will leave eventually...Like they are doing to Texas.

That Ehealth.com site also lets you compare your current plan with others... It lets you know if any of your Dr's are in a plan or not... It compares all plans...
