a few years back a company sent me a recall
on dehumidifier. i had to cut the cord off.
take a picture of it and send it to them. they sent me
a brand new dehumidifier,I put the cord back the old and its still going strong.
( gave to a friend)

I got the same recall on dehumidifiers. Got a refund, but discarded the units.
Sister almost lost her house when unit caught fire.

Read the torch recall. I consider that a nuisance. If it doesn't shut off, throw it away?

Did they offer a replacement? If so you could have 2 and do a double shoot.

Nawww..... I am not going to throw it away, I am not going to try and return it, it still works as well as it ever did and has paid for itself 10 times over IMHO. I'd recommend it to anyone. And I hate, now that when I do get ready to replace it, it'll no doubt have hell finding a replacement.

I just thought if anyone had one they might watch it. Always worth passing on info when it could concern someone's safety.
