I have a 10 1/2 sirloin beef roast and smoked it at 250 with an internal temp of 148. It only toke about 7 to 8 hours isn't that awful quick????
 
I think that sounds about right. The leaner cuts take less cook time. Hey! Where's the Qview?
 
That might be a little quick, I'll have to taste it to be sure....

no I do not think that is fast. You will hit a plateau at some point.
