Dang there you go again I'll be in PA the next couple days and now I will have to stop at a Wawa. Just a thought have you ever asked Wawa if they would sell a pound uncooked?

Warren

Thank You Warren!!
Yes the first thing I did was ask that, and I've asked a few of them since.
And Thanks for the Like.

Love the 4/1 dogs . Those look great . I can get a couple different brands here . Like the red color ,,, wish I could try one .

Yup--That's the ones I want---4 in a Pack. Those "Quarter Pounders" are actually 5.3 ounces each. That's more like 1/3 pounders!!
And Thanks for the Like.

Soooo. What's the verdict on the Stadium Mustard???

Pretty good stuff, in my book.
I'm kinda funny with my mustard:
Most things I use, I find my favorite & pretty much stick to it, however with mustard, I'm different. I use all of them that I like, French's Yellow, Gulden's Yellow, a few Horseradish Mustards, Grey Poupon, and now I got Stadium Mustard. I like them All. I only found one that I had no like at all---It was some kind of "Stone Ground" stuff---Lousy Stuff.

I agree ,I thought that "stone ground" looked like it would be good. Not...
It owns the back of the dressing compartment in fridge.

LOL---Mine was in the back of one of the Door Baskets, until I needed the space. Then it went Bye-Bye.

The contents looked similar, but a different Name & different Jar. It had a weird taste & I didn't like the texture at all.

While I do like straight yellow mustarded for dogs and especially corndogs, But when it comes to ham sandwiches and other things like that, I do like the snap of the little mustard seeds of whole grain or half ground seed mustard. But after trying my hand at making my own, I quickly realized I do NOT like my mustard fermented which is part of the process for that Bavarian style. Many will call for wine as the base or vinegar. The wine based ones tend to be more funky fermented taste also. In the end, in my opinion you can make your own that is WAY better than anything at the store. Its so easy too.

Stadium mustard is not really a big thing now with all the other options. HUGE deal in the day when all you had was French's. You're not so different. I change mine up here too. LOL I remember my Grey Poupon phase. It has been awhile and sounds pretty tasty. OMG the commercial...

Germans use sweet mustard on morning stuff (weisswurst is classic pairing). Inglehoffer is a well known sweet one. They also make a hot one and it is likely what you'd expect. Not sure if anyone is into honey mustard but Inglehoffer makes INSANELY good honey mustard. I make a batch now and then for chicken fingers. There's actually mayo in the recipe.

Thank You Sam!!
We use "Honey-Mustard" for dipping Chicken Fingers too, but all we have is "Ken's" that Mrs Bear gets at the Store.

That's Great !!!
Let me know how you like it!!
Bethlehem?!?! I worked there for 20 years at 8th & Eaton Ave---"Bethlehem Steel".
Blakeslee is where there is a sample Model home "Kuhn's Brothers". One of them there is like mine, except for the changes we made to ours & they added to theirs.

Damn Joe....where's mine?? :emoji_anguished:

I bet you could start up a mail order hot dog delivery company and make all of us rich :emoji_wink:

Then again maybe not,
Robert

Wawa already has the market cornered, I’d send you some if spoilage wasn’t an issue

Yeah I had to drive my wife to a doctors appointment. Nice straight shot down route 33 and we ran the backroads back to Blakeslee.

Once we got to WaWa I stopped for gas, coffee and a dog. I made the wife drive home from there (20 minutes) while I ate the hotdog in the passenger seat.

It was really good, I’ve had them before as I usually stop at a wawa while out fly fishing. Good meat to bun ratio...but also easy enough to eat one handed while driving or riding shotgun!
